Description

Audiokinetic is looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to improve user interactions on our website and Wwise Launcher. The ideal candidate has worked with large scale web applications (CRM or similar) and will not hesitate to dig through Google analytics to understand how users behave on our website. This data-driven person will help identify problems and propose solutions or methodologies to enhance the customer journey and optimize acquisition funnels. When talking about new features, they really try to understand the stakeholders’ needs and how to best integrate their requests.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Conduct UX audit, identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness), and propose improvements based on data (Google Analytics or navigation hot maps)
  • Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Produce high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Optimize existing website and customers journey
  • Validate UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, widgets, navigation buttons and search fields
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback (user research)
  • Maintain and adapt style standard to meet the company branding for fonts, colors and images


Requirements

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in user experience design for large-scale web applications.

  • BSc in Design, Multimedia, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Min. 5 years experience as a UI/UX Designer
  • Portfolio of design projects
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. InVision, Axure)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Good time-management skills
  • Knowledge of CSS and HTML
  • Proven experience using analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics)
  • Strong communication skills in English and French, an asset
