Using Fades

As the arpeggio comes in and out, the transition feels a bit abrupt. You can resolve this by using fades.

In addition to the clip handles, there are also clip fade-in and fade-out handles in the upper corner of each clip. You can use these to apply a volume fade to the beginning and end of each of the clips so that the arpeggio part gradually comes in and out.

  1. On the first clip in the Arpeggio 2 Music Track, drag the fade-in handle to the right and the fade-out handle to the left.

  2. Adjust your fade-in and fade-out on the first clip to your liking and then apply the same fades to the remaining clips on the Music Track.

    [Tip]

You can drag clips left or right to where they will overlap another clip, automatically creating a crossfade. You can then right-click the fade curve and you can choose from various curve types to suit the transition.
