Tokyo, Japan - June 25th, 2012 – Audiokinetic Inc., the leading provider of cross-platform audio solutions for the interactive media and gaming industries, today announced a new partnership with Silicon Studio Corporation that will lead to the integration of Audiokinetic’s audio engine Wwise®, into the next-generation OROCHI 3 game engine.
OROCHI 3, the company’s family of modular all in one engine is designed to give developers the flexibility and control they need to create breakthrough game experiences. To respond to the growing need for complete audio solutions in game development, Silicon Studiodecided to expand their audio offering with Audiokinetic. “Wwise has one of the best audio tools in the game development industry,” said Takehiko Terada, President and CEO of Silicon Studio. “Our customers will benefit from Audiokinetic technology being directly integrated into OROCHI 3.”
