Remote Connect over Network

You can connect to a game locally, but you can also connect to another device on the same network. For example, if you have a mobile device with a build of WAG, you can connect to it from your laptop and monitor performance. Let’s connect to a remote device.

[Note]

This exercise will briefly explain how to connect to a Mobile device. For information on deploying a game to a mobile device, please refer to the Unity documentation.

  1. Open WAG on a secondary device (like a mobile device or a different computer).

  2. In the Wwise toolbar, click the Remote button.

  3. Open the Remote Connections dialog, select the Wwise Adventure Game in the list, then click Connect.

You’ve now connected to the game on a remote device. If you’re on a public network, consider switching to your mobile hotspot, as the network might not allow for these types of connections.
