Transferring Files Multiple Times

You can transfer the same files from REAPER to Wwise multiple times. If you do, you must decide whether to overwrite the previously transferred files or not. The first time you attempt to transfer the same files, the Render Warning dialog opens:

There are several options:

  • To replace the existing files, click Overwrite.

  • To keep the existing files and transfer a new copy of the files once, click Increment filenames.

  • To ensure that you never overwrite files and always import a new copy with incremented file names, select Always silently increment filenames to avoid overwriting and then click Increment filenames.

If you select the last option, the dialog will not reappear when you transfer files repeatedly. In that case, however, you could have many copies of the files, which might not be desirable. To disable this option, go to File > Render. In the Render dialog, clear the Silently increment filenames to avoid overwriting option:
