Adding an Existing Installation to the Audiokinetic Launcher

The Launcher typically detects all versions of Wwise installed on your system and lists them on the Wwise page. However, the Launcher might not be able to detect certain versions of Wwise, such as very old versions or versions that are managed by a version control system. You can add these versions to the Launcher manually.

To add an installed version of Wwise to the Launcher:

  1. On the Wwise tab, open the VERSIONS INSTALLED menu and click Locate local copy of Wwise.

    A Windows Explorer or Mac Finder window opens.

  2. Find the desired Wwise version's wwise.exe file.

  3. Select the file and click Open.

    The Explorer/Finder closes. The selected version of Wwise is included in the VERSIONS INSTALLED list.
