Strata Sample 4 - WWI Collection Guide

The Strata Sample 4 - WWI collection includes sounds from the following collections: WWI Firearms Pistols, WWI Firearms Rifles, and WWI Firearms Shotguns. This sample collection contains three complete subprojects from those collections: the Mauser C96 pistol, the Lee Enfield No 4 MK1 rifle, and the Browning Auto 5 shotgun.

All sounds in this collection include authentic high-resolution recordings of vintage firearms used in the First World War, featuring multiple-shot variations from various microphones and perspectives, as well as pristine handling Foley and mechanism recordings.

The Main Project

The main project provides a convenient way to visualize, locate, and audition the sounds in the collection. The main project contains tracks for each collection and the selected subproject, with media items that reference the various subprojects in nested tracks. You can audition any of the media items, which reference the rendered output from the corresponding subprojects.

In the main project, Strata Sample 4 - WWI.rpp, you can double-click any subproject media item to open the corresponding subproject, in which all the tracks and layers available for the specific element are arranged.

Use the Region/Marker Manager to find and jump to the different subproject tracks. For more information, refer to Regions and Markers in the Strata User Guide.

A media item that references the rendered output of the subproject. Place the cursor at any point on the timeline and click Play to audition the rendered output.

Tracks, Layers, and Regions

Strata Sample 4 - WWI tracks, layers, and regions use the standard Strata colors and hierarchy. The main project and subproject track layout is similar to all projects across the Strata collections.
