Heavy Weapons Medieval is a collection of sounds of period armaments: siege engines, ballista, battering rams, catapults, and siege tower cauldrons. Each armament has multiple layers of detail and variation of every aspect of its use: moving, firing, priming, load release, and impacts on various surfaces and projectile sizes.
The complete list of all the subprojects and their associated data and embedded metadata is available in the accompanying Heavy Weapons Medieval SoundBook.

The Heavy Weapons Medieval main project provides a convenient way to visualize, locate, and audition the sounds in the Heavy Weapons Medieval collection. Additionally, it is a central point from which you can open the individual subprojects of the collection. The main project contains tracks for each subproject weapon, with media items that reference the various subprojects in nested tracks. You can audition any of the media items that reference the rendered output from the corresponding subprojects.
In the main Heavy Weapons Medieval project, you can double-click any subproject media item to open the corresponding subproject, in which all of the tracks and layers available for the specific weapon are arranged.
Use the Region/Marker Manager to find and jump to the different subproject tracks. For more information, refer to Regions and Markers in the Strata User Guide.
