How to disable process log in Wwise for Perforce operations

+1 vote
Hello all, I was wondering if there is any way to disable the process log every time an operation is performed in Wwise while using source control. This is getting in the way of importing assets through ReaWwise where I have to click OK to import the assets inside Wwise. I have scoured the project settings but I can't seem to find a setting to disable this. I'm guessing you'd have to manually edit an xml somewhere to do this?

Hello!

The problem will be fixed in Wwise 2023.1.

In the meantime, if you are confortable with C++:

  • You need to modify ReaWwise (https://github.com/audiokinetic/ReaWwise) so:
    • it calls WAAPI ak.wwise.debug.enableAutomationMode with true before importing
    • it calls WAAPI ak.wwise.debug.enableAutomationMode with false after importing
  • Wait for Wwise 22.1.4, because it will include a a patch to not show the source control log when Automation Mode is ON. (ref: WG-63863)

Hello,
In Wwise 2022.1.3, we tried the ak.wwise.debug.enableAutomationMode set to true before importing but the assert is still popping(Wwise is turning red in Automation Mode but the process log is still opened)
