Silence in Unity build executable

0 votes

I'm having an issue where everything works inside the Unity Editor, compiles with no errors and all sounds/music play correctly; however, there's no sound heard in the exported build executable files, i.e. silence in the game. My Unity project is for Windows PC (I've already installed the 'Release' plug-in for Windows 64-bit).

You should make sure your Soundbanks are copied in the Streaming Assets folder. They need to be there in order to be found in a built game.

If all else fails, you can refer to the troubleshooting section of the help file (Help > Wwise Help), specifically the "There is no sound" section.
