The Aircraft collection contains a broad range of accurate and authentic aircraft propulsion and operation system recordings. Each sound was recorded with multiple microphones in a variety of positions close to the engines and exhaust systems. The aircraft engines were recorded across a range of their potential performance. The resulting recordings provide seamless loops at specific RPM and thrust percentages to facilitate integration into engine audio simulation systems. Start, stop, and idle variations of each aircraft are included, as well as a set of common door operations, tire skids, and horns, all with loops and appropriate perspectives.

The main Aircraft project provides a convenient way to visualize, locate, and audition the sounds in the Aircraft collection. Additionally, it is a central point from which you can open the individual subprojects of the collection. The main project contains tracks for each subproject aircraft, with media items that reference the various subprojects in nested tracks. You can audition any of the media items that reference the rendered output from the corresponding subprojects.
In the main Aircraft project, you can double-click any subproject media item to open the corresponding subproject, in which all of the tracks and layers available for the specific aircraft are arranged.
Use the Region/Marker Manager to find and jump to the different subproject tracks. For more information, refer to Regions and Markers in the Strata User Guide.

Aircraft collection tracks, layers, and regions use the standard Strata colors and hierarchy. The main project and subproject track layout is similar to all projects across the Strata collections.
