Strata Sample 2 Collection Guide

The Strata Sample 2 collection is an introduction to the depth of Strata. It includes subprojects from the Ambience Fantasy, Bullets, Footstep, Modern Firearms, and Sci-Fi Weapons collections. The wide variety of sounds gives an indication of the broad reach of Strata, and their associated REAPER subprojects demonstrate how quickly you can customize collections to suit your needs.

The Main Project

The main project provides a convenient way to visualize, locate, and audition the sounds in the Strata Sample 2 collection. The main project contains a track for each featured collection and the selected subproject, with media items that reference the various subprojects in nested tracks. You can audition any of the media items, which reference the rendered output from the corresponding subprojects.

In the main project, Strata Sample 02.rpp, you can double-click any subproject media item to open the corresponding subproject, in which all the tracks and layers available for the specific element are arranged.

Use the Region/Marker Manager to find and jump to the different subproject tracks. For more information, refer to Regions and Markers in the Strata User Guide.

A media item that references the rendered output of the subproject. Place the cursor at any point on the timeline and click Play to audition the rendered output.

Strata Sample 2 Subprojects

The Strata Sample 2 collection contains the following subprojects:

  • Area Graveyard

  • Objects Graveyard

  • Bullet Small

  • HeavyShoe Concrete

  • Pistol M9

  • Pistol M9 Silenced

  • Pistol

Tracks, Layers, and Regions

Strata Sample 2 tracks, layers, and regions use the standard Strata colors and hierarchy. The main project and subproject track layout is similar to all projects across the Strata collections.
