Sound not emitting from a GameObject when using AkEventPlayable on Unity Timeline

+1 vote

Hello,

As the title says, what I'm trying to do is to use an AkEventPlayable to play a sound (3D spatialized) from a specific GameObject in my Unity scene.

I thought this should be quite easy, but somehow no matter what I do, the sound seems to be coming out from the GameObject which the Timeline is attached to.

I looked up following document, I thought the Track Object should be the emitter of the sound, or if you set "Override Track Object" then that object will be the emitter, am I getting it wrong?

https://www.audiokinetic.com/library/edge/?source=Unity&id=unity__timeline.html

I'm using Unity 2019.1.12f1 with Wwise 2019.1.2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
