Problem replacing audio files in music segments

0 votes
I am trying to replace some audio files in music segments that I have as childs to music playlists in an event titled music.

Even tough I choose replace and click import (no error message is displayed), still the old sound clips are playing when i play the playlists in the transport control. I even tried clearing the audio file cache, but that only resulted in silence whenever I play the playlist in the transport control. It still shows the audio segment text in blue, which means that there should be files linked to the segment, but it's only silent when you try playing them.

I would be so grateful if somebody knew how to fix this problem.

thank you

Hey Ludvig,

Is the Original toggle on or off in your Transport Control? If it's off and the audio segment text is blue, then you shouldn't be able to play anything cause Wwise haven't yet converted the original audio file. In that case, you can right-click it > Convert... But that doesn't really explain why your sound is "silent", cause if you haven't converted it, you shouldn't be able to play the converted sound at all. Could you try to locate the .WAV files in the Originals folder and see if you've got any problems with "silence" when you play them from there? To locate it, you can also right-click the Sound SFX > Open in Containing Folder > name of your .wav file.

Let me know if this helps!
