Upgrading Unity project using the Launcher hangs

+1 vote

Hello,

I've been trying to upgrade our Unity project to the latest WWise. We're on Unity 5.6.1f1 trying to upgrade to Wwise 2016.2.3.6077.

The launcher seems to be stuck on "Executing Unity to complete the installation. This may take a few minutes, please wait..." for hours.
Looking at the log (at the root of the project) there's no error, and it ends with the lines:

Unloading 789 unused Assets to reduce memory usage. Loaded Objects now: 4706.
Total: 8.520197 ms (FindLiveObjects: 0.584933 ms CreateObjectMapping: 0.214427 ms MarkObjects: 5.508371 ms  DeleteObjects: 2.210641 ms)

I've tried restarting it a couple of times (killing all processes + Unity.exe) with the same result every time.

Any clues on why this happens or how to get it to work?

Thanks!
