Using a blend container as a sampler for MIDI

Hi there,

I am currently implementing a timpani sampler to be implemented with midi data in wise. I have set up a blend container and mapped my samples to the correct keys, and assigned the blend container to the music segment that has the midi data. However the midi will not play any sound? Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would not be working?
