Wwise and Unity: Switches controlling footsteps, by Cujo Sound

Here we go all about switches.
We already have a system that creates events when we take a step in the animations - we already have a system to control lots of things.

but so far not one that changes our material of footstep, so in this video we will add that - here with a simple switch container that is controlled by a collider.

You can enter and exit the collider and this sets the switch in our gameobject that controls the footsteps.

This video is a long explanation of what is a switch, how does it work, what can it do and so on.
Then how do we combine it with Unity and how do we make the code and the prefab that we can then spread around our level.
