AKRESULT __cdecl AK::SoundEngine::SetAttenuationScalingFactor ( AkGameObjectID  in_GameObjectID,
AkReal32  in_fAttenuationScalingFactor

Set the scaling factor of a game object. Modify the attenuation computations on this game object to simulate sounds with a a larger or smaller area of effect.

Returns:
  • AK_Success when successful
  • AK_InvalidParameter if the scaling factor specified was 0 or negative.
Parameters:
in_GameObjectID  Game object identifier
in_fAttenuationScalingFactor  Scaling Factor, 1 means 100%, 0.5 means 50%, 2 means 200%, and so on.
