Ambience Warfare provides multichannel ambience bed tracks for battles of various eras: modern, medieval, historical, and sci-fi. The tracks feature weapons, other ordnances, and vehicles of each era.
The ambient bed subprojects are mixed using higher order ambisonics with assets recorded in 1st order AmbiX. They are set up to render in a variety of common multichannel formats to suit your requirements, ranging from binaural to 7.0.4, as well as multiple orders of ambisonics in AmbiX, allowing 360 degrees of listening immersion.
The ambient bed subprojects are configured to render as seamless loops and have control tracks for rapid customization. In addition to the subprojects set up for ambisonic mixing, there are also Object subprojects configured for mono rendering for use as point source objects to populate and dynamize your environments.
You can dynamically control the distance and intensity of the sounds of the ambisonic mixes using the preconfigured Modulation Parameter Control track envelopes. The Object subprojects have a Modulation Parameter control track to change the perceived proximity of the sounds named Distance.
To optimize download size, a stereo render is included in the collection download, which you can audition in the Ambience Warfare project.
The subprojects are arranged to allow auditioning according to your monitor systems and rendering in a comprehensive range of formats. By default, they are configured to monitor in stereo.
The complete list of all the subprojects and their associated data and embedded metadata is available in the accompanying Ambience Warfare SoundBook.
