WWI Firearms Shotguns is a collection of World War I shotgun sounds. It includes subprojects for each firearm, as well as associated foley handling and reload sounds for each firearm.

The complete list of all subprojects, their associated data, and embedded metadata is available in the accompanying WWI Firearms Shotguns SoundBook.

[Note]Note

This guide provides information specific to this collection. For general information that applies to all Strata collections, refer to the Strata User Guide.

The Main Project

The WWI Firearms Shotguns main project provides a convenient way to visualize, locate, and audition the sounds in the collection. Additionally, it is a central point from which you can open the individual subprojects of the library. Each subproject contains sounds related to a unique firearm, organized by type and firearm name. The main project contains tracks for each subproject firearm, with media items that reference the various subprojects in nested tracks. You can audition any of the media items, which reference the rendered output from the corresponding subprojects.

In the main WWI Firearms Shotguns project, you can double-click any subproject media item to open the corresponding subproject, in which all of the tracks and layers available for the specific firearm are arranged.

Use the Region/Marker Manager to find and jump to the different subproject tracks. For more information, refer to Regions and Markers in the Strata User Guide.
