Does the Soundly/Wwise integration export entire files to Wwise after selecting a small part of the audio file?

Hi All,
I'm playing around with the Wwise/Soundlyintegration .
I have a worry though. Here's an example;
I pick a long sound file in Soundly (1min) and make a short selection in it (1 second).
Then I select a Sound Sfx in wwise and press the send to Wwise button in Soundly.
Will the entire 1 min sound file now be imported to Wwise?
Or is it only the selected 1 sec that is imported? - Perhaps along with data that shows me the rest of the file in the Wwise source editor?

Hello,

Overall, when you import a sound, no matter how long it is, the section of the sample used and exported to the soundbank will be the one defined by the Strim In and Strim Out in the Source Editor.

Coming back to the import via Soundly, (which I haven't had time to try yet): when you import a section from Soundly into Wwise, it is longer than the section selected in Soundly. Why? I don't know .... The section is still selected and ready to be used. When generating the soundbank, Wwise will only take the selected section

BUT there is something strange: When you want to import a section that is far from the beginning on an original sample of several minutes, there is a problem of "Trim position out of range..." and the section is lost.
Similarly, if you import a very long sound (several minutes long) via Soundly, it is not whole, whereas the Wwise import method (Shift+ I) imports the sound in its entirety... Could it be bugs ? or is there something to configure ?

Hopefully this can help you
