How to offset the volume of multiple objects simultaneously

0 votes
I know we can multi edit volume, but what I need to do is multi-edit volume relative to where the volume is set currently.

Right now if I multi edit a group of containers to -3 for example, they will all move to the absolute value of -3. I need to multi-edit them by an offset in relation to their current value. So bring everything up or down by X db.

I have to believe this is possible in Wwise but I can't figure out how.

There are three ways to do this:

  • Open objects in Multi-Editor, and type 3- in volume field, click OK
  • Open objects in List View, select multiple objects in list view and type 3- in one of the volume fields
  • Open objects in List View, select multiple objects, hold the ALT key and drag the volume slider

You can offset volume by a positive value by typing something like 3+

This syntax is also possible for any property with range.
