It appears as though using the StreamingAssets folder is required, without the ability to use asset bundles. Our game is highly audio intensive, but also requires a very small initial download size. We need our audio packaged in a bundle, especially for mobile.
The only current solution we see is to rewrite the loader code, the processing code.. etc to remove the hard coded references to streaming assets. At the moment, we don't currently have the resources for this so our fear is that we'll need to remove WWise as from the project as a small download is higher priority than wwise, but it feels highly probable that someone else has encountered (and solved) this problem before.
Is this something under consideration, or are we behind a bit and this has already been solved?
