Install operation completed with errors: User did not grant permission

Hi all

Been having this problem trying to install Wwise - I don't get the pop up asking me to input my admin password to grant permission for Wwise to install. Seems common but can't seem to solve it using other methods that have been posted in other threads.

Specs: 2021 M1 Pro Macbook running Monterey Ver 12.2.
Solutions tried: Rebooting, disabling Apple's System Integrity Protection, the answers in this thread https://www.audiokinetic.com/qa/7140/install-operation-completed-with-errors-grant-permission
