Hello!

I am having an issue with Wwise where it does not convert all of the necessary files to .uasset files. Unreal needs the files to be in this format or it cannot recognize them. It seems to be converting the files related to my events just fine, though. It just won't convert the sound bank files. These are needed for some ambient audio I want to implement. I have already done some troubleshooting and nothing has worked. I even went into the uplugin file and changed the engine version to ensure it is compatible. I am using Unreal Engine 5.3. This did not change anything, however. I also ensured I did the integration correctly and I ensured I am using a compatible version of Wwise. Everything is also set up correctly in the engine. My understanding is that at this point I should be able to drag an event in then refer to that in my character BP via a post event. As long as this is placed after the begin play node and the post event is getting a reference to self it should play. But when I play no audio is produced and in the logs it says it failed to post. Also, in my content browser Unreal is unable to see any of the files in the Wwise project except the event. It can see the event and default data that is in the Wwise Audio folder though. It is just not seeing anything that is in my actual project besides the folders. It cannot see the files. Wwise is also linked to the engine correctly and I am able to generate files using the browser. This does not fail. I have also saved my project correctly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
