1. The main differences observed:

  • <PrefetchSize> values differ by 1 or more.
  • Hash values in lines like the following are different:
    • <SoundBank Id="3382288" Type="Event" GUID="{5762880E-753B-431B-B80A-770E6015911C}" Language="SFX" Hash="{440B9A61-615E-67D3-BFEB-4533A17975CE}">

2. The command used to generate Soundbanks via the console:

WwiseConsole generate-soundbank "E:/wwise-project/WwiseProject.wproj" --platform "Windows" --continue-on-error --verbose

3. Wwise version: 2023.1.6.8555

4. Before generating, we tried:

  • Clearing the audio file cache (clear-audio-file-cache).
  • Completely deleting old Soundbanks before generation.

5. The project settings for Soundbanks in the Wwise UI match those used for console generation.
