Hello all!
Why would sounds play in Wwise and not in the Unity Project?
- I upgraded to the latest version of Unity and Wwise.
- I created a simple landscape scene in Unity
- I integrated Wwise and Unity via the Wwise Launcher integration
- The Sounds play in Wwise but not in Unity Project.
- Sound Banks seem to have generated properly
- Events are in both Wwise and Unity via the Wwise picker
- In Unity I added an AK Listener to the camera, Ak Ambient to the scene with the Ak Bank and Ak Event selected
Am I missing something?
- Is there some selection in Unity that will allow use of Wwise as the Sound source?
- Do I need an audio Mixer in Unity?
- I assume that the integration package placed the Soundbanks correctly or the Wwise picker would not find them in Unity?
I have used Wwise before in projects already integrate (including Cube Angry Bots Limbo, etc) but this is the first time I have tried to integrate on own
I am a composer with limited C# and Java programming experience but ready and willing to dive in if necessary - this step of completing the integration is a HUGE one if I am to make connections for game develeopers. If there is anyone who can help me with this I would be so appreciative!
- I am on a Mac but wil also need to do this on PC's
