I'm currently going through the tutorials, and I'm having trouble listening to the sounds I'm working with. The shotgun blast and pump event is set up just fine, but when I import and select the shotgun shells sound effects, the transport continues playing only the shotgun fire event. The transport doesn't change name or allow monitoring of different sounds unless I restart wwise, and I've had to do that twice in the last five minutes. After restarting, selecting different SFX objects, events, etc. changes the transport as expected, and their sounds can be heard – but only for a short while until it decides to stop updating.

I'm running 2018.1.3.6784 on a Macbook Pro, if that makes any difference. The tutorial is telling me to just select objects and press play to hear them, but I'm not able to do this!

Cheers,

Benedict

Not an answer but you might be able to click on the pin icon on the transport bar to unpin a selected sound and then select again the sound you want to preview - maybe by clicking away first.
Well, I feel like an idiot, that was the problem. It seems though that every 5 minutes or so the transport bar just decides to pin itself to something, and that was really throwing me off, but at least now I know I can unpin it when that happens.

Cheers
Haha! No - it is a bit annoying. I don't know if it's a Mac specific thing - I'm using the wwise editor on Mac, too. Seems to have a mind of its own! :)
