Wwise remote connections not available

Going through the 101 course on mac, running version 2019.2.11, I can't seem to get wwise to connect with Cube. In the remote connections view, there is nothing showing up in the 'available' window. I don't think the problem is a firewall. Any ideas on what i can try would be so helpful, thanks in advance!
