How to assign SFX for breakable objects in Unity?

0 votes
Hi gang,

I am using the 3D game kit from the Unity Asset store, and am trying to find a way to hook up a 'smash' SFX to a breakable stone box - I know how to link SFX to animation events, but the breakable boxes don't use an animation - just a lot of different meshes which then collapse when hit. I have been trying to figure this out for hours but with no avail - can anyone shed light on how to do this?

Thanks in advance, hope you can help!
