Reflect skipping between different geometric faces

0 votes
Hi everyone,

I'm currently developing an audio-only VR game in Unity and am using Reflect to simulate engine reflections once the player moves within a certain distance of geometry. However, I'm encountering some issues when moving to a new geometric face. The new reflection takes a split second to register and therefore there's a skip in audio.

I tried using ProBuilder as well as Unity's simple geometry and merged all the faces together but I'm still getting the same problem; whenever there's a new angle, it takes a split second before the new angle is calculated (at least that's what I believe is happening).

I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with this in Reflect and if you were able to smooth out the sound loss or eliminate the delay.

Thanks!
