Unity randomly trashes all the events that have been set up on gameObjects when I generate soundbanks

This happens seemingly at random and sometimes takes a little while for them to disappear which... is baffling. Whenever it happens I have to go to SourceTree, un-delete all of the events that have been deleted, start the project up again and re-set any events that I set up in between the last time I pushed and the event purge. It happens incredibly frequently and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong to cause this to happen.
Any ideas???

We're on Unity 2020.3.25f1 and Wwise 2021.1.4.7707.

This looks like a bug, I suggest to send out a Bug Report through the Launcher.
