Joel Robichaud - Interactive audio plug-in development with the Wwise SDK

Presented by: Joel Robichaud, Audiokinetic

Interactive media, such as video games, often have strict performance and memory requirements while targeting a large amount of platforms. Furthermore, most of the audio plug-ins developed today are designed to run in an environment with a graphical user interface, but interactive media have no need for a user interface past the creation stage. As such, the traditional audio plug-in formats would not be suitable.

This talk will provide an in-depth look at interactive audio plug-in creation using the Wwise SDK, along with strategies for its integration into an existing audio plug-in project made with JUCE. Attendees: C++ code samples will be presented – some familiarity with the language is recommended.
