Crash on Android if no Activity is set

Question

Using 2017.2.10.6745 (also tested on latest 2019.2.2.7275) Android wwise initialisation fails if no activity is set.

On 2019.2.2.7275:

A/libc: Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV), code 1 (SEGV_MAPERR), fault addr 0x230

On 2017.2.10.6745:

It gives AKRESULT 86 which means no Java VM set.

However on 2017 the documentation says that setting activity is optional. On 2019 this line of documentation has been removed. There are occasions where app is started without an activity like in our case from BLE background scan result via a service. Can you please state is this supposed to work on 2017.
