Wwise launcher won't install REV 2

Hi everyone! I'm trying to install the plugin REV 2 on my mac using the wwise launcher, most recent version of the launcher, wwise, and the plug-in- the launcher says everything is good and it's installed, but it isn't. The plugin doesn't show up in the list of plugins, the dll and xml files aren't in the proper folder, wwise can't find the plug-in, etc. I can go back into the Add Plug-Ins screen and it's still there to be checked off and installed. I tried installing an older version, as well as modifying my wwise installation rather than going through the Plug-In tab- no dice. Whaaaat's going on?

This plug-in can only be run in the Windows version of the Wwise authoring tool.
