HI,

This is for PC only, I'm trying to output 2 different sound mix from wwise :

- One surround 5.1 mix for ambiance and SFX

- one stereo mix which would output only Radio Comm from the game.

The setup would allow sim nuts builders to receive radio comm in headphones.End users would use an 8 outputs home studio sound cards in order to route easily the radio comm to heaphone and suround mixdirectly to monitors or Home cinema AV receivers via ADAT optic link.

Apparently something like that was made for PS4 dualshock speakers, check this answer from the wWise guys:

"Your best bet is to post this question to our Q&A page, since then the engineers can hopefully give you an answer.  You might be able to treat the other two channels as a secondary output, but I'm not sure how well that would work on a generic PC platform (it was originally built for PS4 output to the Dualshock4 speaker)."

Best.

Hello!

Your coworker is right, it is possible on PS4 and WiiU, but unfortunately not currently implemented on Windows.  There's a way to implement the missing pieces as a plugin on your side, but it is not documented yet.  Contact our private support for more detailed instructions.
