If I follow this workaround can I start to test out the Audio Link functionality?  One of the reasons I am itching to start working with 5.1 and 2022 is to evaluate and understand how Audio Link passes events, busses, or audio from one engine to the other and what options I have utilizing new UE5.1 audio functionality but keeping the mix and events in WWise.

If so I'll try this workaround out today.
