Hello,

Recently the priority system for nested AKSpatialVolumes has stopped working. It seems the emitter stays attached to the player/camera.
Room to room is working fine, but as soon as you nest them, something has broken. When watching the attenuation in real-time, you can see one emitter is being attenuated but there is one still attached to the player/camera.

Any idea what could have caused this to happen so suddenly? Wwise has not been updated from 2022.1 and Unreal is 5.0.1. From what I have been told, I cant see any changes that would have caused this.

Thanks

Did you figure something out for this?
I have the same issue in UE 5.4 and Wwise 2023.1.4

Followed along with the Wwise Up On Air on Spatial Audio: Acoustics, and while the set up is simple, for some reason it just isn't working.

I played around in my project, and I got it to work.

Apparently, the priority system doesn't seem to care about nested AkSpatialAudioVolumes, UNLESS I add one or more Portals to them.

You also need an attenuation set up in Wwise for the sound you're playing with the Audio Volume.

EDIT: Weirdly enough, if one AkSpatialAudioVolume has Portal(s), then other nested volumes don't need them to occlude the room tone they're nested in.
