Wwise on Mac completes "generate soundbank" with fatal error(s)

While doing the Wwise 101 Certification Lesson 1, I keep getting a fatal error(s) message when trying to generate a soundbank. When I compare the lesson to my Wwise window, I notice that I'm showing Auto-Defined Soundbanks, whereas this is nowhere to be seen in the lesson. Below you will see the full message. Any help would be appreciated!

I worked it out today. You simply save current project and quit the software, and restart wwise, load project, generate soundbank as instructed. It's probably some problems with software cache.

It is a bug in "User soundbank settings ", when you identify the paths for Windows or for Mac or both, after clicking OK, the settings automatically changed the paths to the first path you defined. If it is "…\Mac", then both paths become Mac. If the first path is "…\Windows", then both paths become Windows. If you leave the first path empty, then both paths will become empty. I have reported the bug, and current workaround is to define duplicate paths for the platform you desired regardless of that warning.

I had the same issue and it seems to be a Mac specific permission issue. So check in your Mac's app preferences if Wwise has adequate permissions. HOWEVER I'm still not getting Wwise to output soundbanks correctly.

As can be seen above (12:06:11    SoundBanksOutputPath    SoundBanks output path: \\    Mac) Wwise doesn't seem to retain the path previously set in the sound bank user setting panel. Not sure where to go from here really.

I am having the same issue whilst trying to generate a soundbank for module 18 of the Wwise fundamentals course. Was this ever solved?
