I teach WWISE at my school, and the games I have to work with currently are only compatible with WWISE 2019.2. Since the Python issues in Monterey, I have shifted the students to using 2019.2.15, which has worked fine.

Recently, WWISE 2019.2.15 refuses to launch - I have currently tried reinstalling it multiple times, restarting the machine, and even doing steps like removing the WWISE2019 directory within the user's library/application support folder, with nothing seeming to resolve the issue.

Launching WWISE 2023.1.0 does work, but due to compatibility reasons, I need to use 2019.2.15.

My personal M1 computer, running MacOS Ventura 13.5.1, is able to launch WWISE 2019.2.15 without issue, so I'm curious if something about 13.6 created specific compatibility issues, or if there is something else at play I'm not looking at.

EDIT/UPDATE: It appears that the cause might be due to a peripheral hooked up to the computer at the time of me making this post. After unplugging everything from the machine, 2019.2.15 was able to launch without problem.

I'll continue to investigate next time I'm at my work desk and can update with any insight I can provide.
