On PC, if I start my game with an audio device, but remove the audio device during gameplay (like unplugging my audio interface), Wwise would suspend. And if I connect the audio device back, it would wake up from suspend normally.

However, if I start my game without any audio device (Windows showing the sound icon with an error x at taskbar), and I plug my audio interface during gameplay, Wwise still has no sound, and no log can be seen in Wwise Profiler.

I tried other games using Wwise such as Cyberpunk 2077, Wwise behaves normally even if I init the game without an audio device and plug my audio interface in during gameplay.

So what is the Wwise setting in my game that I am not configured correctly? Or do I need to change anything in Wwise source code in order to make it work?

My game runs Wwise 2021.1.3 on UE4.25
