Controller Assignment Status ---> Not active: Can't resolve to an object

I use my faderfox UC4 midi controller buttons to control soundcaster in Wwise. I just have a problem when reopening my Wwise project the midi control assignment doesn't work anymore. I can get it to work by deleting the controlling assignment and add it again, but after saving Wwise and reopening the project the same problem occurs again. Does someone know what could be wrong?
