Hello,

I have installed Unity 2022.3.5f1, Wwise 2023.1.4.8496 and Wwise Adventure Game. When I try to connect  to the remote platform in Profiler (Lesson 1:Adding Sound, p. 459 I get an error "Different version (2023.1.1 v7: Wwise expects 2023.1.1 v6)".What does "v6" mean? Shoud I install Wwise 2022 version? I tried also couple other 2023 versions and neither worked.

Cheers!

Heya,

what helped for me is to really ensure all the versions of the programs match up.
In the 'Unity'-tab of the Wwise launcher, below your project name it tells you what versions it expects. When opening the project per that tab, you can open it in any Wwise version you have installed, but I think it has to be the one it says below the project name.
For example, for my project it expects Unity 2022.3.5f1 and Wwise 2023.1.4.8496. When I used my Unity .20f1, it didn't recognize Wwise at all. When I used Wwise 2023.1.1.8417, it worked for the most part, except I got the same error as you (even down to the expected v6 instead of 7). On other Wwise 2023.1.X versions, it just said "Different Versions (2023.1.1)" without the 'expected' part. Only when I installed 2023.1.4, it actually let me connect and profile again.

Hope this helps, if you still need it!
