Hi everyone,

I’m working on a project in Wwise, and I’m having some trouble setting up a system for a gunshot sound that switches to an empty gun sound without changing the RTPC. Here’s the situation I’m trying to implement:

  • I have an RTPC called AmmoCount which is set to 1 when the player has one bullet left in the gun.
  • On the first click (when RTPC = 1), I want the gun to fire and play the gunshot sound.
  • On the second click (with RTPC still = 1), I want the gun to play an empty gun sound.

The challenge I’m facing is that I don’t want the RTPC value to decrease further or reset after the first shot. Instead, I’m trying to use State Groups or another logic mechanism to track the gun's state (ready to fire or empty) and manage which sound to play on each click.

Any suggestions or guidance on how to refine this setup would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.
