Unity Wwise Dllnotfoundexception

Hi all, I'm struggling to work with a unity project that recently had Wwise integrated into it by another user. He did the integration on his mac, then pushed it to github and I downloaded it on my side, but I just can't get it to work, can't even access the Wwise settings from within unity because this error spams out every unity tick.

The main header of the error reads:
DllNotFoundException: AkSoundEngine assembly:<unknown assembly> type:<unknown type> member:(null)
