I have a slew rate set on my. game parameter, but it doesn't seem to be affecting it correctly as the changes between my values are still very abrupt. Can anyone help me??

I have the same problem. In Wwise 2023 the slew works perfectly. In my 2024x nothing. I've tried pretty well everything. Slew rates just wont work! It's always instant! Even when using soundcaster. Please help AK!

Hello, I assume and hope you found the solution by now, but in case it helps others, here is what I found about this common behavior:

The RTPC Slew Rate is not applied when changing values manually with sliders (either in the Transport Control or in Soundcaster).
Soundcaster/TC sets the Game Parameter value instantly, bypassing the Attack/Release interpolation, so the change always sounds immediate.

The Slew Rate only works when the RTPC value is set via runtime paths, such as:

  • an Event using Set RTPC Value
  • engine code (Unity / Unreal / WAAPI)

To correctly test Slew Rate (even from Soundcaster), trigger an Event that sets the RTPC value instead of moving the slider.

I hope this explanation will help!
