I have read that Wwise will work on an iPad. I have been unsuccessful thus far in finding an iOS compatible launcher. Does anyone know where I might find this?

Hi Terry,

You're right in noting that Wwise can work with iOS / on an iPad, but there’s an important distinction to make:

- The Wwise Soundengine can be included in an iOS game or app. So if you're exporting a game or app for iOS using a game engine like Unity, Wwise will function properly within that build.
- Wwise Authoring, the authoring tool used to create interactive audio projects, does not run on iOS. There is currently no iOS-compatible launcher or app that allows you to run the Wwise Authoring environment on an iPad or iPhone.

To create and edit Wwise projects, you'll need to use a Windows or macOS computer. Once you've authored your project, the generated Soundbanks and Wwise runtime libraries can be deployed to your iOS game.
