1. Per-parameter Override Parent. For example, if all music segments in a playlist will have the same tempo, but some will differ in meter, you only override the meter in that one segment, and it still can inherit the tempo from the parent. This could be useful anywhere you want a child to inherit everything from its parent except for a few properties.
2. Remove Override Parent checkbox – simply changing a child’s value overrides the parent. If you want, maybe include some kind of indicator, like a color change or icon that shows that this property is overriding the parent. Then, each parameter could have a “reset to parent” option.
