I freshly installed the latest stable version of Wwise, along with all of the Limbo files. I moved the Limbo files to a separate location, per the PDF instructions. When I try to open the limbo project file (either from the project file itself, or with "open other" from Wwise) I get the following error message:

"The project or one of the work units has been saved with a more recent version of Wwise, and can't be opened."

If anyone has this issue relating to the current 101 course (with cube demo) and lesson 3 open this link.....

http://cras-wwise.com/lessonfiles/

you should see the following files under the parent directory...

chose the second one (not v2015.1.zip)

Replace lesson 3 from your previous download with the one from this zip file.

I'm running mavericks (that's as far as I'm willing to upgrade OSX as each new operating system since Snow Leopard just sucks more and more) so the new 2015 versions of Wwise won't open on my Mac

Hope this helps
