Hello,

In 2013.2.1 build 4821, I can't seem to find the Switch Type setting for Music Switch Containers in the Property Editor. I've looked in our game's project and in the sample project. Did it move elsewhere? Is this a bug? (Or am I just going crazy?)

Thanks.

It's been removed.  You don't need to specify it anymore.

Starting with 2013.1, the Music Switch Container support multiple switch or state groups in the same container.

  • Go to the Interactive Music Layout (press F10)
  • Drag and drop Switch or State Groups in the top section of the Music Switch Container Association Editor
    or
Use the >> button to select which state or switch group to add
  • Associate the content to switches or states using the bottom pane

For more information, refer to this topic in the Wwise Help:

Hi Bernard!

I am aware its been 2/3 years since your comment but I just wanted to clarify that last bullet point you made! :)

'Associate the content to switches or states using the bottom pane'. Is the screenshot of my project below the correct step?

I simply dragged 'fight' and 'stress' from the 'Music switch association container editor' to the box below it, with headings such as 'Path'  'weight'   'object'
